-2015 festival set to be bigger and better than ever before as new headline sponsor Electrolux promises exciting first-time features

- Celebrity chefs Atul Kochharand Tim Anderson will lead an all-star line-up featuring more new restaurants than ever before

28January 2015 - Dubai, UAE: Taste of Dubai is back for 2015, promising an exciting line-up of new celebrity chefs, restaurants, sponsors and attractions that will make the event’s eighth year the biggest and bestyet.

Thousands of hungry guests from across the UAE will be treated to a weekend of culinary delight sand family fun when the festival returns to the amphitheatre at Dubai Media City, from 12 – 14 March.

With more new restaurants than ever before confirmed, guest’s taste-buds will be sent into overdrive with more than 100 bespoke dishes from some of Dubai’s favourite culinary hotspots. Restaurants such as Gaucho, The Scene, The Gramercy, Katsuya and Perry & Black wellder’s Original Smokehouse will deliver an astounding 11 different cuisines.

Searing more flavour into the action-packed weekend,celebrity chefs Atul Kocchar and Tim Anderson will be on hand to entertain crowds with live demonstrations. A number of additional stars are also set to be announced over the coming weeks.

New title sponsor Electrolux will offer exciting first-time features including Electrolux Chef’s Secrets, Interactive Cookery Classes, Electrolux Hospitality Area, and Electrolux Chef’s Table: an exclusive dining experience where an Electrolux brand ambassador chef will cook for VIP guests.

The world’s favourite al fresco food, drink and music festival will serve up a host of features for visitors to savour, including the Barilla-sponsored live music stage, chefs’ theatre,cookery school and VIP lounge,as well as displays from more than 60 exhibitors.
Guaranteeing fun for the whole family, the Funky Monkeys Kids Zone will roll out a daily schedule of fun-filled activities for little ones to enjoy.

In addition to Electrolux, a number of sponsors have already come on board to ensure the event is a recipe for success.Kenwood is the official cookery school partner, as well as Choithrams as the official supermarket, Acqua Pannaas official water sponsor, WH Smith as book signing sponsor, and Mashreq Flavours and Mashreq as box office and bank partner.

Taste of Dubai takes place at Dubai Media City Amphitheatre from Thursday 12 to Saturday 14 March 2015.The festival will run from 4 – 12pm on Thursday, 12pm – 12am on Friday and 12pm – 11pm on Saturday.
